November 21, 2017 - Ciara competed in her school spelling bee at Landon.  She was in the Top 5 finalists, and was in the Top 2 girl spellers (she went 10 rounds!).   Her words were:  enlisted, Chesapeake, truculently, piteously, lichenous, Mythos, gauss, coquelicot, and telegenic and she got all of those right!  (Nuance was the one that was off the list and was the tough one.)
